Application for sponsorship

 

My name is Paul Hanks and I am a motorbike stunt rider.  I have been stunt riding for 2 years now, and the reason for writing to you is to ask for your support by sponsorship from your company.

 

I’ve appeared in many national magazines including Streetfighters (most months) with a double page rider profile in the August issue, Street Monsters (French magazine), MCN and local  news papers and Sky Sports 2.

 

In 2008 I won the Straightliners UK Stunt Championship over 4 rounds.  I performed at various shows in 2008 including the Isle of Man TT Show and Classic Touring Cars at Brands Hatch circuit. 

 

In 2009, I finished a close 2nd in the first round of the UK Championship to Mattie Griffin (who is a professional rider ranked 5th in the world and is sponsored by Suzuki) In the 2nd round I finished 1st in the freestyle event and 1st in the longest stoppie. The final round at Santa Pod I also finished 1st in the freestyle event to secure the 2009 championship title for the second year running and 1st in the 'sickest trick' with highchair figure of 8 circles.

 

In 2010 I'm going to compete in the UK Stunt Championship to try to retain my title, The German Championships, World Championships and have received an invite to compete in the XDL championships in America of which entry is by invitation only.  In addition to competing, I will also ride in various shows throughout the year.

 

Which brings me back to my original request for sponsorship from yourselves, which could include any promotional gear you may wish to supply.  In return, I can offer advertising on my jacket, bike, van and on my website.  The website should be up and running in a few weeks which will include photos, videos, shows and competition results as well as sponsor's advertising etc.

 

I’ve enclosed some photos from a few events and training this year and am in the process of having a promo DVD shot. If you would like any pictures of me in newspapers and magazines I can email them to you.
